1.        Read the Notification carefully before applying online. The Notification can be downloaded from this page or from the link 

       RESEARCH/Ph.D Admission at the official website of University of Jammu (www.jammuuniversity.ac.in). The candidates must read the 'ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA'

       carefully and must satisfy  themselves regarding their eligibility for Ph.D Programme.

2.          Application Procedure: The application can be filled in three steps
          Step 1. Pay Fee online,  print the fee receipt for future use.
            Step 2. Register yourself, upload .pdf file of PG/4-Year Bachelor's Degree Marks Certificate (final semester only), NOC from Employer in case of Part time

                                  applicants and Score card of (UGC-NET/ UGC-NET(CSIR)/ JRF/ SET/ SLET/ M.Phil/ GATE/ CEED/ Any other similar national level test) if any,

                                  recent photo and signature (<50KB in .jpg/.jpeg) using Bank Transaction Ref. No.           

                  Step 3. Print Application Form for your reference.

3.         It is compulsory to pay the Application fee (Rs. 260/-) online first (Step-1)  and then Register for Ph.D Programme after payment of fee (Step-2). The payment transaction 

        reference number  generated  after the successful transaction and mobile number will be treated as confirmation keys for all the online windows. 

4.         Please note down the system generated Transaction reference number, Payment reference number and mobile Number for future use.

5.         Fill up the correct information in the Application Form including the  category & others, Post-graduation degree & Subject.

6 .       Candidates are required to complete the process of submission of Application Form within the prescribed   schedule.

7        Candidates are required to submit the signed copy with all the requisite documents in the concerned department within three working days of filling up the online application form.
